Hi everyone
I sit here reflecting on how happy Philadelphia sports fans were just about 3 weeks ago. Our baseball team was and still is the best in the world. We had finally won a championship and the city had a team it could be proud to call it’s own. 2 Million people crowded the streets for the sports version of woodstock.
Oh but how things changed. We now have a football team wallowing in complete stupidity and chaos. We have a coach, who insists on passing 58 times in to a gusting wind against the 25th worst run defense in football and only running 15 times. A coach who wouldn’t know time management if someone put a billboard in front of him with a play clock on it. A coach whose press conferences make me want to find a way to stick a cheese grater in to my brain or maybe just stick a finger down my throat. A coach who keeps running the same plays over and over and over and over again. I feel like I’m watching groundhog day on a football field. It’s definitely time to start over.
I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention our rocket scientists of a quarterback. If I went to Syracuse I wouldn’t acknowledge him as a fellow alumn. I am baffled as to how the leader of a football team doesn’t even understand the rules of the game he plays in. Not to mention that I’m blind and could’ve thrown to the open receivers that were on the field on Sunday. It’s time to start over. It is definitely time to start over. I wonder if or should I say when the Eagles don’t make the playoffs if Donavan Einstein as I will now refer to him will still think he is playing or will claim the rule that says that the
teams with the best records making the playoffs is somehow unfair. Ah if only we had another game he would probably say or something like I thought there was 18 games in a season.
One last thing, I’ve never actually been a Mcnabb, I’m sorry, Einstine basher. I actually think, in his time, he may have been the best quarterback I ever saw in Eagles history but enough is enough.
